Baguio Trip {Fatravelist}

Our goal is to visit all the famous tourist spots at the Summer Capital of the Philippines.
We arrived at the city proper exactly 11:45AM. Temperature is about 23'C and a little foggy.

Our 1st stop is the most popular in Baguio, Burnham Park. There are few activities you can do at the park like boating, skating, jogging, family picnic and even play soccer at the Melvin Johns Stadium. Of all activity we choose to go at the children's park and rented bicycle for 40.00/hour.

Few minutes away from Burnham park is our 2nd stop, Sizzling Plate at 116 Session Road, Baguio. The restaurant are known in serving steak at sizzling plate. Service are good and foods are very cheap (150.00 to 300.00/meal).

3rd stop is the Strawberry Farm at La Trinidad Benguet, a 30 mins drive from the city. Aside from strawberry local farmers was able to grow lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and more due to cool climate. You can also do strawberry picking for 300.00/kilo. Around that farm you'll see local traders selling strawberry flavored taho, ice cream and wine. What I enjoyed most here is all vegetables are very fresh and some are organic yet still cheap.

A luxurious 5 stars hotel, The Manor at Camp John Hay is our 4th stop. The best place to stay overnight after rambling around Baguio. Blessed with environment compliment the hotel structures.  

For Dinner and for 5th stop, we went to Le Monet Hotel at Orion Drive Camp John Hay. The restaurant offers traditional and modern cuisine in a very charming ambiance and abundance of art that was design to honor Claude Monet. 

Day 2 and our 6th stop is the best fine dinning restaurant in Baguio at classic log cabin ambiance with garden view and cordillera mountain, Le Chef by Billy King. 

Our 7th stop is located at the eastern part of the city. Wright Park, is quiet promenade fun park known as "Pool of Pines". Aside of  the beautiful scenery you can do some activity like horseback riding for minimum cost 300/hour and dressing up like Igorot's for 50 pesos.

Across Wright Park is our 8th stop.  The house of the President, The Mansion. An elegant Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The Mansion front gate is the most photographed section of the property. Gates are open to public but limited access only.

Our 9th destination is another famous promontory, Mines View Park which overlooks the mining town of Itogon and offers a glimpse of the Amburayan Valley. Many local vendors are also selling pasalubong like lengua de gato, peanut brittles, chocoflakes and more...

10th stop is the Good Shepherd, here you can buy the best pasalubong in town made by nuns. It's a little expensive but worth it

We are still full even if it's already 3:00PM but cannot skip this place. Forest House at Loakan Road for late lunch is our 11th stop. They are serving comfort food with homey ambiance.

12th stop is a quick visit to PMA.

Better check the mall that doesn't need air conditioning , SM Baguio is our 13th stop.

We don't want to go home without giving thanks to God for our awesome trip in Baguio, so our 14th stop is The Lady of Atonement Cathedral. We attended 5:00 PM mass.  The cathedral has a distinct pink facade with a rose window and twin square bell towers with pyramidal roofs. Within its large courtyard is a view deck that overlooks Session Road and the downtown commercial district of Baguio City. The cathedral is accessible to pedestrians from Session Road through a 100-step stone staircase, or through the adjacent campus of Saint Louis University.

We just want to try the cab with minimum flag down rate of 25.00 and drive at the most busiest street in Baguio, Session Road. 

Amazing places, foods and people and we can say that this is the most awesome visit in Baguio and we are looking forward for another visit :D
